For especially non-solvent based inks like UV Curing, Heat Curing or Water Based, the surface conditions of the substrate to be printed on is very important for getting adhesion and the correct wetting for an optimum resolution of the image. If this can not be achieved via for instance Openair-Plasma® or Corona, an adhesion promotor, like PlasmaPlus®, can be helpful.
